Hello, generous souls,
I come before you today with a story of resilience, hope, and the unwavering spirit of a remarkable young woman. My name is Khadijah, and I am reaching out on behalf of my daughter, Naljae, affectionately known as Jae. At just 30 years old, she finds herself battling End-Stage Kidney Failure, relying on peritoneal dialysis to survive. In our pursuit of a brighter future, we are launching this GoFundMe (click here for our GoFundMe) campaign to fund her much-needed kidney transplant and explore an innovative alternative therapy called Mito Organelle's Stem Cell Therapy. Together, let's embark on this incredible journey toward kidney wellness.
Jae's path to kidney failure began when she was diagnosed with Juvenile Nephronophthisis at the tender age of 12. It was a silent battle, developing since her birth, unbeknownst to us. Looking back, we can now identify subtle signs—a perpetual thirst, bedwetting at a later age—that hinted at an underlying condition. Then, out of nowhere, her spine curved, as if scoliosis emerged from the shadows. It was a defining moment that plunged us into the depths of medical investigation.
Low calcium levels caught the attention of doctors, leading to further testing. Gradually, abnormalities in her kidney levels emerged, propelling us into the care of renal specialists. Meanwhile, her bone density deteriorated at an alarming pace, necessitating a back brace and ultimately emergency hip surgery, where pins were inserted in both hips to halt their slide. In those trying times, my focus was fixed on her bone issues, never imagining we would face the dire reality of kidney failure, let alone dialysis. Yet, acute kidney failure struck like a bolt of lightning.
Suddenly, Jae experienced breathlessness and severe vomiting, seemingly out of nowhere. The situation rapidly deteriorated, leading to a frantic trip to the hospital, where emergency dialysis commenced due to dangerously high toxin levels in her blood. Time blurred as I witnessed my daughter transition to hemodialysis, while discussions about a life-saving transplant began. After a few challenging months, she shifted to peritoneal dialysis to manage her condition better. At that time, she was placed on the transplant list, as I, her mother and live donor, was unable to donate due to my pregnancy. Miraculously, the wait for a deceased donor match was shorter than anticipated, only a couple of months.
The call summoning us for the transplant was a moment of overwhelming elation. That night, Jae underwent a successful transplant, and that kidney served her well for almost 15 incredible years. She never missed a beat when it came to her kidney health, faithfully following her medication regimen, attending appointments, and closely monitoring her lab results. My heart swelled with pride as I witnessed her not only survive but thrive. She discovered her purpose and passion in art, teaching herself traditional techniques and pursuing Graphic Design at the renowned Art Institute of Atlanta. She became a beacon of inspiration, an exceptional entrepreneur, and a true testament to the triumph of the human spirit.
At 27 years old, Jae embraced the profound joy of motherhood, welcoming a beautiful baby girl named Leilani into the world. However, consumed by the demands of caring for her child, she inadvertently neglected her own well-being. One day, a devastating call shattered our lives. Jae had been rushed to the emergency room, a victim of a seizure triggered by dangerously high blood pressure. Tragically, the beginning of the pandemic forbade me from being by her side or participating in crucial medical decisions. The anguish of separation during her most vulnerable moments was unbearable, as if my heart had been ripped from my chest, leaving me breathless. Medical choices were made without my full involvement, and dialysis was abruptly reintroduced without an attempt to salvage her transplanted kidney. Acute kidney rejection ensued, exacerbating her condition.
Upon her return home, our focus shifted to stabilizing her blood pressure and preventing seizures. Her blood pressure fluctuated dramatically, particularly during sleep, leading to countless sleepless nights as I anxiously monitored her to ensure her safety. The medical community remained perplexed as to why these episodes occurred during sleep. In the face of adversity, I found the strength to remain unyielding. I could not break down, for my daughter and granddaughter depended on me. It felt like being in a constant state of war, relentlessly fighting for Jae's well-being.
Jae underwent two evaluations for a transplant, and both attempts were met with heartbreak. The first evaluation, soon after initiating dialysis, deemed her ineligible due to unstable levels. The most recent evaluation, at the beginning of 2023, resulted in denial due to the frequency of hospital visits caused by her high blood pressure. We were devastated to learn that she would have to wait an entire additional year before being reevaluated. The blow felt insurmountable.
Today, as we stand at the crossroads of hope and healing, I carry within me an unyielding belief that alternative paths to renal care exist. We simply lacked the proper guidance, direction, and knowledge to navigate them. As we delve deeper into research and gain wisdom through experience, we have discovered the potential of Mito Organelle's Stem Cell Therapy offered by European Wellness. This revolutionary therapy repairs cell vitality, revitalizes organs, restores anatomical integrity, regenerates bodily systems, and detoxifies the body. Astonishing case studies have demonstrated that Stage 5 End-Stage Renal patients, once reliant on dialysis, have progressed to Stage 3, no longer requiring this cumbersome treatment. The implications of this groundbreaking research are immense, offering not only hope for my daughter but also for countless others seeking alternatives to Kidney Failure Health.
And now, dear friends, we come to you. We humbly invite you to be a part of this transformative journey. Your generous contributions will make a world of difference, enabling Jae to undergo her much-needed kidney transplant and opening doors to explore alternative therapies that could revolutionize the field of kidney wellness. Every dollar you donate brings us closer to reshaping destinies, restoring hope, and discovering new frontiers in the battle against kidney failure.
Join us today, as we stand together against the storm, united by compassion and the shared belief in the power of humanity. Together, let's create a brighter, healthier future for Jae, for my granddaughter, and for all those seeking a second chance at life.
